EVENT RULES & REGULATIONS
GENERAL PARTICIPATION RULES
Splash & Dash 2026 is a participatory sports event for children, teenagers, adults, and families. All participants must comply with the rules and instructions issued by the Organizing Committee (OC).
By registering for the event, participants or parents/legal guardians in the case of minors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make final decisions regarding participation and event operations.
AGE CATEGORIES & RACE PARTICIPATION
Participants must register for the correct race category according to their age on race day.
Children must compete in the appropriate age group assigned by the Organizing Committee.
Participants aged 14 and above are eligible for adult running races.
Providing incorrect age information may result in reassignment or disqualification.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring accurate registration details for children.
RACE RULES & SAFETY
Running Races
Participants must follow the designated running routes at all times.
Course cutting, skipping checkpoints, or taking shortcuts is not permitted.
All running races are chip-timed, and race bibs must be worn visibly during the race.
Swimming Races
Swimming races are held in a 25-meter pool with assigned lanes.
A maximum of two swimmers per lane is allowed per heat.
Timing is conducted manually by official timekeepers.
If multiple heats are organized, the best recorded time will be used for ranking.
Safety
Medical teams, volunteers, and supervisors are present across all race and activity areas.
Participants must immediately report any injury or safety concern to event staff.
The Organizing Committee may stop, delay, or adjust any race if safety conditions require.
CONDUCT, EQUIPMENT & EVENT CHANGES
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.
Appropriate sports attire must be worn. Equipment must not pose a risk to others.
No race T-shirt is included in the race kit.
Parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising children throughout the event.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the event schedule, race formats, or venue layout to ensure safety and event quality.
In cases of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, updates will be communicated through official channels.
All decisions made by the Organizing Committee are final and binding.

The top 3 teams with the best total time will be awarded and honored at the event.
